Our berry fruity family (hahaha)

Mike and Alaine started dating in 1998 and were married in August of 2000.  Mike works allllll day long while Alaine stays home with the kids and watches soaps and eats chocolates.  Mike's interests are fishing, poker, sports (watching...not playing) and relaxing while playing his PS2.  Alaine enjoys taking pictures of her kids (both hairy & non-hairy) and flowers, playing handbells at church and miscellaneous crafty things. 

Nicole is our oldest and is going into the 6th grade.  She is a big sister who thinks she's a mom and a daughter who thinks she's too old to be told to do things.  She is also an animal lover and spends a lot of time looking for bugs, feeding squirrels, growing frogs and playing Zoo Tycoon.  She is very conscious of other's feelings and is known to make cards or write notes when someone is feeling bad.  She is going to grow up to be a great mom whether it's to human babies or animals. 

Ben is our middle child.  He will be 5 this summer and is going into the Young 5's program at the same school Nicole attends.  He is very sensitive but also a bit of a bully (to his brother).  He is very interested in finding ways to get in trouble and succeeds often.  He LOVES trains, Toy Story, Lazy Town and playing with all of his little "guys".  He is getting to be a really big boy and asks questions like "when I'm bigger can I walk to school by myself?" a lot.  He adores his big sister and would love to be with her all day if he could.

Noah is the baby and will tell you (quite forcefully) that he is mommy's baby.  He is our little daredevil and escape artist and definitely keeps everyone on their toes.  He is like Nicole in that he loves animals and he is like Ben in that he loves to be sneaky and get into everything.   He is usually seen carrying around some of his stuffed cats (all named Pumpkin Dew or Martina) or one of his puppies (named Ginger).  He is a big boy and weighs almost the same as Ben but he is very cuddly and affectionate.  He is going to be breaking hearts someday with those blue eyes and dimples.
